HURT...

It was a comment that triggered it all. A comment not so important may be, but the person who made the comment holds a very much important status in my life. He is my one-way best friend. Well, the term might seem funny, but that's the truth. For me he is my best friend, but for me I am not his. A comment that simply said, "you sound so mysterious about things you don’t know anything about!".

To the naked eye, it might seem a simple sarcasm in the lightest of sense. But it's deceiving. It was an conscious attempt at making me realise the futility of my words. It was a showcase of my complete and utter ignorance and foolishness for the whole world to see.

May be I am exaggerating. May be I am not. But the fact still remains unchanged. I was completely and devastatingly hurt by the one person whose opinion I valued probably more than my own.

The last smiley ":)" in the end was like the last nail on the tomb.

I have no idea when the scars will obliterate with time. But it will take a long time to heal the wound left on my heart.

Hum He rahi Pyar ke....
Phir Milenge...Chalte Chalte

Very recently I saw Rab Ne bana di jodi on the big screen. And I have to say, it was worth it. I had heard very mixed remarks regarding the movie itself. Well I don't think I can term it as mixed, since I heard negative remarks from everyone except one. And that one positive review drove me to the doors of PVR.

Needless to say, being a Shahrukh Khan movie it had the whole Mela of emotions. Surinder Sahni(Punjab Power) was simply lovable. You just can't help liking him. May be Shahrukh Khan took the phrase "Ordinary Life" too seriously. Still he never over did it. The one scene I loved was when he saw "Taani Ji" and tried to stand up with his pendrive still attached to the laptop. His yellow tiffin, his act of leaving a rose by the breakfast plate and then taking it back out of sheer sincerity made him fit perfectly into the role of the ordinary man. His inability to refuse when his staff members of "punjab Power" self-invited themselves for the marriage party, was an occasion that most of us might have went through at least once in our lifetime.

Then comes the loud and fun-loving "Raj"...Nam to suna hoga. Ofcourse all of us hindi movie lovers know who raj is. Ya, you guessed it right. He is the same naughty, flirtatious Raj Malhotra of Dilwale Dulhania Le jaenge (the one in Europe), but with awefully loud and funny attire. Here was the alterego of Surinder Sahni, dressed in red/blue/yellow t-shirts and similar what I can call were knickers. But even with his outrageously outlandish character, he succeeds in winning the heart of his "Taani Partner".. You may think why. Well isn't it simple? He still had the heart of Surinder. :)

Well may be the idea of Taani not recognizing Srinder with a funky hair do and no moustache, was a bit too far-fethched. But anyway that's Bollywood. After all the drama and emotions, the film ends in a happy note to the delight of the audience. Ofcourse I had just one regret, I missed the "Chance be Dance". But I simply loved the song "Tujh Me rab dikhta he". Anyway....overall the film had everything that you could have asked for, except may be a vilain. But I wont complain, coz Raj compensated for that in a way.

Well, after all I can say I liked the movie and I would go for 4 stars out of 5 (I know I am too genrous) just for the sheer brilliance of the acting and chemistry of Surinder and Taani. They will surely make you fall in love again with your girlfriend if you have one, or make you fall in love anyway.

And one more thing, this was the first movie where I saw the whole sequence of movie credits till the end. The story of their honeymoon in Japan during the credits was just simply awesome.

So with that Bye....Oh I am sorry...Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna...Kehna to bus ye kehna ki .....
